How a Split Squat with Rotation Improves Your Swing

How a Split Squat with Rotation Improves Your Swing

Do you ever struggle with early extension or feel like you lose your posture and come out of your swing too early? A split squat drill is just what you need to improve your game. A simple and quick exercise incorporated into your regular routine will help you perfect your form.

This drill is a great way to improve your ability to stay down and through your swing. You can work on using the ground and applying pressure through your lead heel (into the floor) and trail foot (into the wall) to get your hip to rise as you rotate your torso through.

The pole will help you visualize and initiate rotating before extending.

A solid golf swing needs rotation and hip extension at the right time. 65% of golfers tend to extend too soon. Try this split squat drill and you should be able to improve.
